Illinois State Representative
David Friess
David Friess has been an Illinois House of Representatives member since January 2021, representing the 115th district. He lives in Red Bud, IL, with his wife Miki, and their two children, Thomas and Jeda.
District Director
Cathy Dupertuis
Cathy Dupertuis currently serves as the District Director for Rep. Friess. In this role, she actively engages with the community, including founding the Women’s Leadership Program. She is a published author, an artist, and enjoys serving across the district.

District Legislative Assistant
Jace Knight
Jace Knight currently serves as the Legislative Assistant for the State Representative. He began the role in July of 2024. During this time, he actively assists constituents while planning for WLI. Also, an integral part of the communications team. He resides in Red Bud and currently majors in Political Science.
