Collaboration and Team Building

Our team gathered for a presentation by Jamie Christine of Phoenix Massage Therapy, who took us on a journey into our future through meditation. Then, team-building exercises and all-around fun.

Etiquette Seminar

Women's Leadership has created an insightful training program focused on social etiquette. In today's world, your image is shaped by various factors—whether you're dining with a business partner, interviewing for a job, or starting college. Social media, personal presentation, and your resume all contribute to how you present yourself. Unlike previous generations, you have more opportunities to showcase your abilities, and by mastering the intricacies of today’s social environment, you can truly thrive.
The evening began with lessons on table etiquette, teaching participants how to set a formal dining table. We shared a meal together while discussing the challenges of higher education and career paths. The program proceeded with resume reviews and evaluations, culminating in speed interviews between mentees and mentors, providing mentees with valuable insights.

Our team had the opportunity to give back to the community during a dedicated day of service. Our staff and mentors gathered at the Randolph County Humane Society to lend a helping hand. We assisted in cleaning the animals' facilities and took time to cuddle with them, providing them with love and attention in what can otherwise be a lonely situation.

Success Dinner

We concluded Session 5 with our Success Dinner. We shared a delightful meal at 1860 Public House. Our guest Speaker was Senator Terri Bryant.
During the dinner, all of our mentors and mentees engaged in conversations about their achievements and the lessons they learned throughout the program. We watched as these young women evolved from strong candidates in women's leadership to potential future leaders of our communities. After sharing a meal together, each team received a certificate of completion, and the mentees were awarded scholarships to help cover upcoming expenses as they transition to the next stage of their lives.
